The Department of Trade and Industry is eyeing to consolidate all its offices in one building to be constructed on the vacant lot next to the World Trade Center in Roxas Boulevard to save on its P200-million annual rental.
Trade and Industry Secretary Peter B. Favila told reporters that the entire block in Roxas Boulevard was leased by the National Development Co. (NDC), the investment arm of the DTI, to the Philippine Exporters Confederation (Philexport) on a long term 50-year lease.> > > [ full story ]
