THE BUSINESS PROCESS outsourcing (BPO) sector remains confident of weathering the impact of a strong peso but a number of firms have been forced to rethink expansion plans or move to areas where costs are lower, an industry survey showed.
Outsource2Philippines (O2P), together with the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPA/P), earlier this month polled the latter’s 267 members.
The survey generated 62 responses, where "more than half" replied that the peso’s rise "has had no impact or only modest impact on their business." > > > [ full story ]
