Real estate services firm CB Richard Ellis Philippines said in a property market outlook yesterday that increased demand for industrial space — driven by rising industrial investments amid fast economic growth — may spur another round of expansion in the industrial property market, particularly those in economic zones.
"Growth in the industrial sector can be expected in the coming periods with the ’open access policy’ to be implemented by the government in Philippine Economic Zone Authority-accredited facilities. This policy will allow large power consumers to directly purchase their power requirements from the wholesale electricity spot market," the report read. > > > [ full story ]
