Make your First Million in Real Estate ! Be a Licensed Real Estate Broker

Its the start of the year and you might be wondering how to improve your financial condition. You may want to consider entering the world of real estate marketing and earn your first million!

You can enter the profession of becoming a real estate broker and start your road towards earning millions of pesos in real estate. The first step though is to get your license as a real estate broker as the law ( DTI Ministy Order No. 39, Series of 1985) requires that if you will engage in real estate service practice you must have a license. So how do you get your license? The qualifications for your to be a licensed real estate broker, are as follows:

  1. Must pass the licensure examinations administered by the DTI
  2. At least 21 years of age
  3. Honest, truthful and of good moral character
  4. Not convicted of any offense involving moral turpitude
  5. Satisfactorily completed at least 144 units of college; OR
  6. Finished 72 units in college provided he must been a licensed salesmen for a period of four (4) years

So, if you are qualified you may take the real estate broker's examinations to be conducted by DTI (which is generally conducted twice a year, on the last Sunday of May and November).

If you are decided to take the said exams, we just have a reminder that as early as now, look for your original diploma or already request for a certified copy of your transcript of records from the school where you graduated from or where you took your college units as this will be required when you apply for the examination permit. This is so since it may take time to request for a copy of your transcript of records and you may not be able to get it on time for the deadline of the application for examination permit (particularly if you studied in the province or even abroad).

Next thing is to attend a Review Seminar (Comprehensive Real Estate Seminar And Review - CRESAR) which are conducted by various accredited real estate organizations and some of which will start as early as March 2008. We shall try to update you with the various schedules of upcoming seminars in the future.

SO, GO AHEAD AND BE A LICENSED REAL ESTATE BROKER and Make your First Million in 2008 !
