Twenty-three cities out of the 54 identified as next wave cities still require heavy investments before they can host business process outsourcing operations, said Secretary Ray Anthony Roxas Chua III.
In a speech before the 8th Services Global Sourcing Conference & Exhibition, Chua, who is chairman of the Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT) said that of the 22 cities, 16 including Metro Manila have major locators but there are six other cities with no major locators.
Chua said the 23 cities require massive investments out of the 45 that have been identified as next wave cities to host ICT projects. > > > [ full story ]
