MANILA, Philippines – A homeowners’ association in Parañaque City has again appealed to President Macapagal-Arroyo to immediately order the takeover of the BF Homes water systems, citing an executive order allowing the move.
The Homeowners Welfare Advocacy Group (HWAG) on Wednesday filed a resolution urging the President and Vice President Noli de Castro to order the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage Systems (MWSS) to gain control of the water systems.
The group cited Executive Order 688, which allows the MWSS to control and manage the water systems of subdivisions whose developers are unable to provide an adequate water supply to residents.
