PNP receives P300-M for housing project

THE Philippine National Police has received the initial amount of P300-million from the Department of Budget and Management to fund the housing and quartering projects for an estimated 65,000 homeless police personnel, officials announced yesterday.

The amount will be distributed equally among the three housing and quartering projects which are presently underway in Bicutan, Taguig City; San Miguel, Bulacan; and Baras, Rizal, said PNP spokesman, Senior Supt. Nicanor A. Bartolome. > > > [ full story ]
